This photograph was created for a poster promoting "An Accessible Art", an exhibit for the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred. The techniques and philosophies behind the Water Series were employed here to add to the sense of depth, motion, and time. Water was also used in this image as a connecting force between the photograph, the exhibit, and the pieces. Not only is water an essential part of the process behind creating these ceramic pieces, but it is also an intrinsic part of the final product of that process. As part of an exhibit of "functional art", many of the pieces shown here were designed as containers for water or other liquids.
