The familiar form of the human figure is presented with mystery and ambiguity, which is reinforced when contrasted with the addition of a fantastic variety of sharp-focus plant forms. The conversation between those pairings of particular yet universal manifestations of nature are presented with formal compositional rigor — devoid of extraneous elements. Nevertheless, these become poetic juxtapositions which invite comparison, meditation, and appreciation.
